Well, i’ve shot my last wedding for the 2015 season. What a day it was too. Unfortunately the sun didn’t make an appearance but on a plus side it remained dry. The biggest issue with the weather was the wind, boy did it blow! Anyway, I arrived at The Reid Rooms Nr Gt Dunmow, Essex in plenty of time and this gave me the time for a good scout about as this was my first outing there. What a great venue!! The chapel is very cute, oak beams and subtle lighting really adds to the feel. The rest of the venue flows really well from room to room, spacious without making you feel lost. Cosy lounge area with a log burner one end supplying plenty of warmth and a mini grand piano the other supplying background music.
The couple I shot for were amazing, very welcoming and open to all suggestions for poses and locations. They really did embrace anything I suggested and were happy to venture out into the cold and wind to capture some outdoor romantics.
The evening drew to a close for me at my usual time and the time seemed to just fly by without any issues. I’m currently working through their images but I have posted some in my gallery that I edited on the day and played as a slideshow on a TV during the reception. Please do have a look.
I will add another post when I’m all up to date as I currently have some exciting plans in the pipeline that I’m working on with a local business…… All will be revealed in due course!!
